This charming French faience toilet set, composed of a pitcher and matching basin, is a delightful example of late 19th century production from the renowned Lunéville manufacture. The underside bears the mark “Phlox K&G Lunéville France”, identifying the factory of Keller & Guérin, one of the most important faience producers in eastern France. The “Phlox” pattern, with its stylized floral garlands in soft green and warm ochre tones, reflects the transition toward more naturalistic yet still decorative motifs typical of the period around 1890 -1900.
The elegant, slightly tapered form of the pitcher, combined with its generous handle and gently flared spout, gives the piece both functionality and refined presence.
